I actually acquired my Sayco yo-yo's directly from Larry Sayco many years ago. The yo-yo style is similar to the Duncan Professional model. Lawrence J. Sayegh (aka "Larry Sayco" and also "Larry Sayer" when he worked as a Duncan demonstrator) of Cumberland, Rhode Island, was born October 19, 1932 and passed away January 25, 2019 at the age of 86.
This auction is for a 1960s-90s vintage SAYCO Tournament model made by L.J. Sayegh in MINT UNUSED CONDITION (# 1218 in Lucky's Guide). Larry Sayco (born L. J. Sayegh) is a legend in the world of yo-yos. A demonstrator for multiple other companies, he started producing his own model in the 60s and manufactured them himself with equipment he designed for his entire life.
