eBay RARE Cold Fusion GT All Black Limited Edition Yo-YoYou are bidding on a rare all-black Limited Edition Cold Fusion GT Yo-Yo from ProYo. In the late 90s it seemed like every kid in America wanted a Cold Fusion; the metal yo-yo that cost $99! If you had one it pretty much guaranteed you had friends who wanted to try it. The ProYo Cold Fusion was Proyo Playmaxx s most successful metal yo-yo, to call it simply a metal version of the Turbo Bumble Bee is a disservice to both. Like the TBB, the Cold Fusion has mismatched black and gold halves (as well as black and yellow string). The Cold Fusion is a modified shape yo-yo designed for looping tricks, it’s companion Cold Fusion GT version is butterfly shaped for string tricks.The Cold Fusion featured a stainless steel A-sized ball bearing and a Modified-style body shape. It has Proyo Playmaxx s patented Brake Pads, a response system using replaceable, cork-like rubber stickers in a starburst-like pattern around the area of the bearing. To celebrate the success of the Cold Fusion, a limited number of 400 special powder coated versions of the yo-yo were produced. Half were in the modified shape and half in the GT (butterfly) shape. The majority released had a black half and a color half (either teal, blue, red, or orange). Cold Fusion GT LEs do not come available too often.This Cold Fusion GT is an All Black variant. Part of a further limited number of black/black LEs made available only at the ProYo Museum in Tuscon, AZ. This yo-yo is in excellent but played state.
