Patented in 1976, the Tom Kuhn No Jive was the worldâ??s very first take-apart yo-yo. It sports a replaceable wooden axle and has been featured in publications worldwide including OMNI, Science Digest, Sports Illustrated and Readerâ??s Digest, amongst others.
Up for sale is a beautiful BRANE NEW in factory sealed package Coca-Cola brand professional yo-yo. It was marketed by Jack Russell in 1989. The Instructions and illustrated tricks are on the back. Package has minimal signs of wear and sticker residue (presumably a price tag). I do believe the residue would come off with some gentle love but I didn’t want to chance it. This is a standard bee with bearing axle. I believe it was sssembled from halves molded for the X-ray Bee run. When I ran Dave's Skill Toys, my biggest competitor was Infinite Illusions.

eBay Proyo 2 Ladybug edition Yo-Yo - 1 of 30You are bidding on a special release of the rare Proyo II Ladybug edition yo-yo. The Ladybug yo-yo logo was designed by Tom Van Dan Elzen for his wife, the queen bee of Proyo. She was a fan of ladybugs and suggested the idea. Ladybug yo-yos are some of the rarest Proyo 2s from the company; only 30 were ever released.The Proyo 2 Ladybug features a very unique red half that is darker than the typical red associated with Proyo 2s. The special color was created by grinding up old red Proyo halves from the early days of Playmaxx (When Donald Duncan’s son was at the company) and adding them to the plastic used in the Proyo 2 molds. This red color is almost brick red and was only used on two models from Proyo; the Ladybug and the Killer Bee.Every Ladybug that I’ve seen has a different reverse cap design. This particular Ladybug has a photo of an airplane nose with an illustration of Santa Claus impacting the nose of the airplane. Santa’s right hand holds a bag of presents. I’ve never seen this cap before or been able to find details about it online, but that’s often the case with limited edition Proyos. The yo-yo is in excellent condition with no major scuffs and an excellent axle. This yo-yo is a unique and sought after rare release of the ProYo s and will have a special place in someone’s collection. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
