This is a YYJ Dark Magic 2 Ghost Edition. It was released in late 2013. This rims are nickel plated.I’ve only thrown this yoyo a few times. There are no dings, and I don't see any cracks in the plastic behind the caps. This yoyo plays great, but it does have the usual Yoyojam vibe. eBay Up for sale is a rare Phenom from Yoyojam. This was the signature yoyo of Hiroyuki Suzuki. Red anodization and I'm pretty sure the gold rings are 24K gold plated according to some sources I've read like from yoyostorerewind Both sides have their original caps! It also makes a really cool "sonic" or echo sound when the yoyo is spinning probably from the caps.The yoyo is in overall really good condition with some normal wear on the anodization. No real "dings" I would say when looking around the yoyo edges, just some anodization wear from being so old. The only deep scratch or ding I found was on one side of the yoyo near the response pads, I included a picture of this above. Plays with some slight vibe, nothing really noticeable on the string. Yoyojam Dark Magic 1 Andre Boulay Signature Series LIMITED EDITION VERY RARE!!. Blue translucent body with black painted rims. And mirror hubcaps. This is a rare early limited edition. It is in good condition. I tried to show all of the flaws. The black rims show all of the flaws compared to unpainted rims.
Here’s a nice older throw from One Drop, the Markmont Next, up for auction. This is the 2010 signature model of former AP World Champion, Mark Montgomery. The yoyo, bearing, box, string, and sticker are all included in the auction!This throw is fairly unique because of its soda blasted and nickle plated finish. The finish was designed to acquire a dark patina over time, just as this one has. The nut capture is pretty rad as well! So I’m the sole owner of this yoyo and am fairly careful with my stuff. However we do have some minor surface issues, as this throw saw quite a bit of play over the years. There are some scratches and a few very small dings and flat spots. I have tried to get these in natural light for you to see. The box is original and is worn and creased. The bearing is tight on the post but is spinning really smooth so I’m not going to remove it. It appears to be a ten ball that I unshielded, but I doubt it’s the original one. It’s been a while so I can’t remember ? I do remember that Mark originally included a specific thin white string that he liked to play. This is not that string, but a G-String from bitd. I’m not sure if it came with a sticker or not, but you get the one pictured! This is a smaller yoyo, having approximately a 50mm diameter and 40mm width. It feels fairly dense on the string with its 67ish gram weight.This throw has never been glass smooth, even when brand new. It plays basically the same as it did 14 years ago. It has some vibe that’s not too bad at all, but no wobble. Perhaps the right person could tune it, but as of now the vibe is not annoying or really even noticeable on a good throw until you touch the yoyo. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
